About AsbestosList

We built this because we kept watching the same thing happen.

Someone needs a licensed asbestos assessor in their region. Or they're trying to vet a removalist before a job. Or they want accredited training and aren't sure who's actually accredited. So they search, and the search is a mess. Association directories haven't been updated in years. Google buries the people you actually want under ad noise. Half the listings you do find are stale or pointing to businesses that no longer trade.

Most people end up sorting it the same way they always have: they ask around. A site supervisor calls a mate. A facilities manager rings the assessor they used last time. Word of mouth carries a lot of this industry, and it mostly works. But not everyone has a network to lean on, and the people without one are usually the ones with the most pressing problem. A homeowner who's just pulled up a tile. A landlord who's noticed something concerning in a roof cavity. A project manager taking over a site they didn't scope.

That's the gap we're trying to close. One place to search by location and specialty, with consultants, licensed removalists and training providers in the same spot, and information that's actually current.

We've been working in and around this industry in Australia and New Zealand for years. The directory doesn't need to be clever. It needs to exist, and it needs to stay current.
