$120 per tonne for residents within Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council - $227 per tonne for commercial or residents outside member council area (minimum charge $40). All asbestos must be wrapped.

Opening hours

8am-4pm Monday to Saturday, 10am-4pm Sunday (Open all Public Holidays except closed Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday)

Prior notification

Yes - Advise the Red Hill weighbridge attendant that you have asbestos waste for disposal so that they can arrange for a transfer station attendant to be on hand to direct you to the relevant area. The Red Hill Waste Management Facility does not allow tipping of asbestos.
