Asbestos Training Providers in New Zealand

Last updated June 2026

Under the Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016, a PCBU has to make sure workers are properly trained before they do any work that involves, or might involve, asbestos. That covers general awareness training for construction and maintenance workers, plus specialist training for people doing removal.

This page lists training providers running asbestos courses across New Zealand, including awareness training aligned with WorkSafe NZ guidance and competency-based courses for removal licence applicants.
