Asbestos Training Providers in Australia

Last updated June 2026

Asbestos awareness training is a legal requirement for any worker who might come across asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) on the job. Under the WHS Regulations, a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) has to make sure workers are trained before they do asbestos-related work, and anyone applying for a removal licence also needs to complete the approved competency units.

This page lists training providers running asbestos courses across Australia. That covers awareness training for general construction workers, Class A and Class B removal licensing, and refresher courses for people already working in the field.

Methodology

The training providers on this page are pulled from the Asbestos List directory after a manual review. As more providers are approved, the numbers and state breakdown update by themselves.

Course and accreditation details are as supplied by each provider. It's worth confirming that a course meets your obligations under the WHS Regulations before you enrol.
